"The Alano Club and AA in general is my home away from home and a large part of my inspiration and spiritual development, pushed forward by like minded souls, many of which have become like family, all in a safe, clean, and beautiful setting. I have been going there since day one after leaving rehab and feel truly blessed to now secretary a meeting there and help propagate the health and welfare and growth of many beautiful souls whom honestly wish to better themselves and stay sober. Even if I only inspire a few or even help just one person change for the better, my mission is accomplished and the cycle of helping one another continues in a truly beautiful, wonderful way. I am humbled and very grateful to be a part of this ongoing process of development."

"I like to slide in safe to home plate at the Alano Club of Lahaina."
